Arroyos del Sol Natural Area is the culmination of a 30-year effort to acquire one of the last large parcels of land in the region suitable for conservation and recreation. Mundus Bishop collaborated with the City of Greeley, the Trust for Public Land, and more than 4,100 stakeholders, partners, and community members to develop a framework and shared vision. More than 978 acres of grassland is protected with a future vision to integrate conservation with opportunities for recreation and place-based programming, and ensure access for visitors of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
