We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect with 8 to 15 years of experience, who is passionate about the profession and interested in creating dynamic resilient places. Creative and collaborative individuals who are interested in a broad range of project types from parks, open spaces, cultural landscapes, institutions, campuses, museums to urban spaces are encouraged to apply.

 Our ideal candidate is a motivated, accomplished individual skilled in design, who has expertise in communicating ideas through graphic and written work, is organized, interested in research-based design for unique solutions, and is collaborative. This individual will have strong technical skills, experience managing complex teams and projects, expertise in office and client management, and a strong portfolio of design excellence in built work. Key qualifications include:

• Demonstrated design excellence in project work and problem-solving with excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Interest and experience in providing creative leadership and management skills.

• Expertise in site and landscape design and in preparing concept plans, detailed schematic design, design development, and construction documentation is required, as is demonstrated experience in construction administration.

• Experience working collaboratively with governmental and non-profit agencies and clients, and with stakeholders.

• Expertise in managing staff, teams, and projects with a portfolio of exemplary built works, and with demonstrated technical ability in all aspects of landscape architecture.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Civil, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office is required, as is the demonstrated ability to mentor staff in all programs. Familiarity with animation applications and project management software is highly desired.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in planning, urban design, or landscape architecture.

• Licensed landscape architect.

• We are an in-person studio with projects across the region and country, so the ability and desire to travel for project work is required.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000 commensurate experience

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect with 5 to 8 years of experience who is passionate about the profession and interested in working on a creative collaborative team. Desire to create dynamic and resilient places, with a strong interest in a broad range of project types from parks, open spaces, cultural landscapes, institutions, campuses, museums to streetscapes and urban spaces is required.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates skilled in problem-solving, experienced in graphics and production, in coordinating documents, and in working with clients. Candidates who are interested in contextual design and who are collaborative and organized are desired. Key qualifications include:

• Technical skills in all aspects of site and landscape design.

• Experience in developing conceptual plans, and in preparing graphics and visuals, along with experience in documentation for all project phase from schematic design through construction documentation.

• Experience in construction administration is desirable.

• Experience on public projects and in engaging with clients and coordinating with other disciplines.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Civil, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, animation applications, and ArcGIS are required.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in landscape architecture, planning, or urban design.

• Licensed landscape architect, or a path towards licensure.

• We are an in-person studio with projects across the region and country, so the ability and desire to travel for project work is required.
