New Small Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens
The Denver Botanic Gardens is a nationally recognized urban
garden that serves as a serene refuge from the chaos of the city. Mundus Bishop
collaborated with the Denver Botanic Gardens from 2008 through 2014, serving a significant
role in the design and implementation of major updates. New gardens include the
Bill Hosokawa Pavilion & Bonsai Garden in which traditional Japanese design
and functions as a tranquil setting for tea ceremonies; Le Potager Garden, a
French-inspired kitchen garden that combines design and agriculture in an delicious
garden of vegetables, herbs and edible flowers; the Darlene Radichel Plant
Select Garden, celebrating native and adapted plants; the Welcome Garden which
serves as a colorful gathering and resting area; and Lainie’s Cutting Garden, a
vibrant array of circular planting beds.
