Hot Springs State Park

In a collaborative process with Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails, and the community of Thermopolis, Wyoming, Mundus Bishop has created a 20-year vision and master plan for the 1,100 acre state park.  Hot Springs State Park is the location of the world’s largest single mineral hot spring, Big Horn Hot Spring.  The state park is the mostly highly visited park in Wyoming and is a world renowned health and wellness park.  Over time the thermal mineral waters have decreased and pressure from visitation has degraded natural resources and visitor amenities.  Mundus Bishop created a plan providing state of the art aquatic facilities, rehabilitation of historic features, lodging redevelopment, year-round programming and experiential opportunities, and ecological restoration.
