Cheesman Park
Cheesman Park is one of Denver’s premier regional parks,
originally designed in the early twentieth century by master landscape
architect Reinhard Scheutze. Mundus Bishop’s master plan and rehabilitation
design revitalizes the park into an engaging and active recreational space. New
trails and traffic calming pedestrian tables improve pedestrian use and crossings.
Four miles of walking trails, restoration of the Unter den Linden allee, and new
overlooks and seating once again invite use. The redesign has reinvigorated the
park and reshaped the connection between landscape and city.
