Today, Denver’s Civic Center's role as the region's premiere public gathering space continues to grow in importance. The restoration of the park's civic monuments and the adaptations of park spaces for contemporary use has established Civic Center as the pre-eminent green oasis, connecting Denver’s city hall with the Colorado State Capitol and the city’s cultural district.
