The “Aspen Idea”

We’re sharing a few scenes from another successful TCLF excursion! MB Principal, Tina Bishop, recently spent the day in Aspen, CO, for tours of several iconic public and private sites, including the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies, Aspen Pedestrian Mall, DBX Ranch, Soldner Center, and private residences. In addition, ABC Stone graciously provided a tour of their marble quarry facilities.

The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) selects new locations each year to host daylong excursions, highlighting examples of innovative landscape architecture with expert-led tours of iconic sites. The ‘23 Aspen Excursion took place on Friday, June 2, to “discover the ‘Aspen Idea,’ where mind, body, and spirit coalesce in an exceptional environment.”
